Adirondacks Upper St Regis Outhouse
Adirondacks Upper St Regis Outhouse

While on a canoe camping trip in the Adirondacks, Evelyn and Rebecca S. found an outhouse that they thought would stand out on the Outhouses of America Tour. It was found in Upper St. Regis pond on an island. That would be a good place to find an outhouse!

Belters Campsite is the location of this Privy on the Appalachian Trail. The AT has a lot of what they call Privy’s at many of their shelters along the trail from Georgia to Maine. Some are enclosed. Some are kind of enclosed. Some have 3 sides and no door. This particular Privy is an “Open Air Privy” located near Belters Campsite on the Appalachian Trail (AT) at mile 700.6 NOBO. I prefer a little more privacy!
